Katy graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance in 2017 where she was the recipient of both the Kathleen Roberts Vocal Scholarship and the Paul Simm Opera Prize.

 

Since then Katy has gone on to perform roles with Opera in the Meantime, Uncovered Opera and has worked with Royal Irish Conservatoire, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the Three Choirs Festival. A lover of all music, traditional and modern, Katy has premiered two roles in operas for award winning composer Stephen McNeff. In her performance of McNeff’s “Miracle Play” The Burning Boy The Time’s Richard Morrison described the Katy’s performance as “particularly impressive”.

Katy also performs as a concert soprano in venues varying from Ely Cathedral to Royal Festival Hall and appears regularly on the Lunchtime Concert Series around London.

 

In addition to her classical and operatic work Katy has provided vocals on albums with Martin Creed and has toured internationally with him and his band in venues such as Venice, Warsaw and Colorado.
